Columbus College of Art and Design Announces New President

The Columbus College of Art & Design has named Thomas White, an industrial designer and branding expert, as its fourth president, succeeding Denny Griffith who retired on June 30.

White most recently was vice-president of corporate development for Los Angeles-based Co-Optimum Connect, an advertising co-operative that ensures manufacturer’s brand standards are followed in retail advertising. He taught college-level drawing at UCLA and industrial design at Cal State – Northridge before his design firm took off. He also held design and executive roles at Citicorp, Lockheed Martin Corp. and RKS Design.
